MEININGER Hotel Copenhagen
About this hotel
MEININGER Hotel Copenhagen mixes private rooms with shared dorms in a hip hostel-style property about eight minutes on foot from Tivoli Gardens and three minutes from Kobenhavn H station. A tattoo shop, a movie theater and bike rentals set it apart from a standard budget stay, while pet-friendly policies and an on-site bar and restaurant round out a property built for younger travelers and families on a budget. Joanne's Restaurant sits three minutes away for guests who want a meal beyond the hotel's own offer. Accessible rooms and a kid-friendly policy round out a stay that guests rate 8.4 out of 10 across more than 7,300 reviews, an unusually strong score for a hostel-style property this close to the station.

Our take
About eight minutes on foot from Tivoli Gardens and three from København H station, MEININGER mixes private rooms with shared dorms, and I would pick it for younger travelers or budget families arriving by train. Bike rentals, a tattoo shop and a movie theater make it livelier than a standard budget stay, with a bar and restaurant on site. Pets are welcome, and 7,338 reviews average 8.4.
Why guests love itGuests staying here find a genuinely affordable base a short walk from both Tivoli Gardens and the Central Station, suited to backpackers, groups and budget-conscious families willing to trade private-hotel polish for dorm-and-private-room flexibility. The bike rentals and movie theater add a social, younger-traveler feel that will not appeal to everyone, but the location and price make it hard to beat for value near the park. Bringing a pet along does not rule this property out either.
