Our take
Direct access to the theme park is what sets Gold River apart, and I would choose it when getting into PortAventura Park without a long walk or a car matters most. The buffet restaurant keeps meals simple for families, and the riverside bar suits the evenings. With 11,576 reviews averaging 8.6, the feedback is broad and consistent, and parking is free.
