Our take
I would look at the Crowne Plaza Orlando - Lake Buena Vista when a fun pool and a dog-friendly policy matter more than walking to a park. The outdoor pool has a slide and a waterfall, which children enjoy after a day at Magic Kingdom, and the restaurant, bar and room service cover evenings. Rooms are air-conditioned and smoke-free, and there is a fitness center. The 7.2 average from 1,234 reviews suggests a decent but uneven four-star stay.
Why guests love itFamilies and coaster fans looking for a comfortable base near Orlando's parks will find a good fit here. The outdoor pool with its slide and waterfall offers a refreshing break, while the pet-friendly policy is a plus for those traveling with animals. While not directly adjacent to park gates, its location provides easy taxi access to Disney Springs, making it a practical choice for multi-park visits.
