Our take
Baymont by Wyndham is a no-frills stop a short drive from Universal Orlando Resort, and I would only choose it when the budget is tight and you have a car. Suites add a microwave and small refrigerator, which helps with simple meals, and there is an outdoor pool and a 24-hour reception. A 7.0 rating over 1,810 reviews says to keep expectations modest.
Why guests love itThis hotel suits families and coaster fans looking for a budget-friendly base with easy access to Universal Orlando Resort via a short drive. The outdoor pool offers a refreshing break after long park days, and the 24-hour reception is handy for early starts or late returns. While not directly adjacent to the park, its proximity still allows for efficient morning departures.
