Our take
Newly renovated and a short drive from Universal Orlando Resort, Hyatt Place runs a free shuttle to the park at set times, so I would check the schedule before planning rope drop. Food is available around the clock, handy after late park closings, and rooms have a small refrigerator and coffee maker. An outdoor pool and a fitness center round it out, backed by an 8.5 rating.
Why guests love itFamilies and coaster fans looking for a convenient base near Universal Orlando Resort will appreciate the shuttle service and 24-hour food options. The outdoor pool provides a welcome break after park days, and the in-room amenities like a refrigerator and coffee maker add comfort. While not directly adjacent, the short drive and shuttle make early starts manageable for all.
