Our take
At 450 meters from Universal Orlando Resort, Rosen Inn Closest to Universal lives up to its name, and I would pick it for families who want to be near the gates without resort-level extras. A free shuttle runs to Universal Orlando and SeaWorld, there is an outdoor pool and an arcade for kids, and rooms have a microwave and refrigerator. 7,870 reviews average 7.9.
Why guests love itThis hotel puts families and coaster fans right at the doorstep of Universal Orlando, with a free shuttle cutting down on morning travel time. The outdoor pool and arcade offer downtime after long park days, while the breakfast buffet fuels early starts. For those prioritizing park access and on-site amenities over luxury, this is a solid choice.
