Our take
California Garden is a 3-star option a short taxi ride from PortAventura World, and I would book it for families who want a pool day built into the trip. There is an outdoor pool with a spa area, a fitness center, a restaurant and a bar, plus mini-golf and kid-friendly facilities for the downtime. Rooms are air-conditioned with free Wi-Fi; a 7.0 from 2,599 reviews points to a fair, not exceptional, stay.
Why guests love itFamilies and coaster enthusiasts looking for a comfortable base near PortAventura World will find California Garden a practical choice. The outdoor pool and mini-golf offer downtime after park days, while the spa provides a quiet escape. While not directly adjacent to the park, a short taxi ride ensures quick access, though early risers might miss a direct shuttle.
